Ravens Upset By Titans 28-12

Ravens

Following a historic regular-season run, the Baltimore Ravens have ended their season in disappointing fashion.

The AFC's No. 1 seed fell to the Tennessee Titans 28-12 on Saturday night.

The Titans are officially the NFL's hottest team. They've beat two of the league's best teams in back-to-back weeks and book themselves a trip to the AFC Championship.

This was a weird game, and felt eerily similar to last year's wild-card loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Driving down the field on their opening possession, Jackson, was picked off when his pass intended for Mark Andrews landed in the hands of Kevin Byard.

The Titans responded when Ryan Tannehill connected with Jonu Smith for a 12-yard touchdown pass. Tannehill found Khalid Raymond for a 35-yard touchdown on the ensuing drive to make it 14-0.

Tannehill passed for just 83 yards but Derrick Henry and the ground game totaled 217 yards and dominated their way through the Ravens defense.

Lamar Jackson threw for 365 yards on 59 attempts, but tossed two interceptions and fumbled twice. He's now 0-2 in the postseason, and criticisms will surely come his way. But it's important not to forget the bright future Jackson has as a second-year quarterback.

The Titans added two third quarter touchdowns from Corey Davis and Tannehill to take. 28-12 lead.

It's a shocking and disappointing end to the Ravens' season in a year where Super Bowl aspirations seemed legitimate.
