The Ravens have created more cap space, this time via trade.

For only the second time in league history, the Ravens made a trade with the rival Pittsburgh Steelers.

In a move that saved $2.1 million, the Ravens improved their draft position for the 2021 NFL Draft. The much needed cap space resulted in a late-round swap for next year's draft and sent Wormley to the Steel City.

Wormley, 26, started his career with the Ravens as a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Wormley provided interior depth for Baltimore the past three seasons, making 39 appearances (including 15 starts).

Chris Wormley played less than half of the defensive snaps last year and finished with 1.5 sacks. He was rated No. 63 overall by PFF among interior DL.With the arrival of Calais Campbell and Michael Brockers, his role wasn't going to increase during his walk year. Makes sense.

With the Ravens adding Calais Campbell and Michael Brockers, the team is showing significant effort to create more cap space.

With free agents such as Jimmy Smith still available and the recently franchise-tagged Matt Judon, the Ravens have decisions to make regarding the future of the team.
