At 4 p.m. ET today, teams will be able to submit waiver claims for Terrell Suggs. The recently released outside linebacker reportedly wants to return to Baltimore, but two teams could make claims to block that from happening.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Tennessee Titans might be one of those teams. Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees was Suggs' Defensive Coordinator in Baltimore from 2011-2017.

Situation to monitor with pass-rusher Terrell Suggs. While he’d like to play for the #Ravens, it sounds like at least one other team is poised to claim him. If it’s the #Titans with DC Dean Pees, there is some familiarity there. Suggs is not certain to show if it’s not Baltimore.

Another team could be the San Francisco 49ers, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. The 49ers have already clinched a playoff spot and are firmly in the mix for the NFC West.

As reported on THE NFL TODAY, the Titans, 49ers and others are mulling a waiver claim on Terrell Suggs. He plans to retire unless he gets claimed by Ravens - but they pick last

It's going to be interesting to see how the situation plays out. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Suggs could consider not reporting to a team that claims him if it's not the Ravens. However, I wouldn't expect that from stopping teams to put in waiver claims. The Ravens have the last waiver claim spot, so their best chance at a reunion is for Suggs to pass through waivers. Then, he would be free to sign with any teams.

The chances of a return to Baltimore are slim, but would you want to see Terrell Suggs back with the Ravens for the remainder of the 2019 season?
