The Antonio Brown era in Buffalo wasn't one to remember.

That's because it never happened.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported late Thursday night that the Buffalo Bills were closing in on a trade for the All-Pro wide receiver.

Sources: The #Steelers are closing in on a deal to send star WR Antonio Brown to the Buffalo #Bills. There it is.

The news sent chaos around the NFL world and it didn't stop there.

Brown quickly took to Instagram to deny the trade reports and shortly after, news surfaced that the Bills were out.

Brown reportedly did not want to play in Buffalo and the saga continues. The Oakland Raiders have been heavily rumored as suitors for Brown but as of right now, there's plenty of smoke surrounding this situation.

I would venture to say the Ravens are unlikely to make a move considering the circumstances. Trading within the AFC North seems like the last option for Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert and Brown's drama doesn't seem like a smart fit in Baltimore.

The new league year begins on March 13th and things are already heating up. Where do you think Brown will land?
