In the early days of Spring Training, development and improvement are main priorities for young prospects.
Orioles right-handed pitcher Dean Kremer, who is ranked 8th in the Orioles Prospect Watch, impressed in a loss Monday against the Phillies.
In 1.1 innings, Kremer struck out two batters and showed a live fastball, reaching up to 95 mph.
Although he earned a loss on his record due to a throwing error by first baseman Taylor Davis, wins and losses are not tremendously important during spring training.
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde spoke about Kremer, giving the 24-year old praise.

As long as Kremer can stay healthy, he'll have a good chance of playing in the majors in 2020.
