During free agency, the Ravens have done their best to hold on to their own players. Resigning players such as Jimmy Smith, Anthony Levine Sr, and extending Chuck Clark are just a few of the moves Baltimore has made this offseason.
With that said the Ravens have been unable to resign several players this offseason (as well as last offseason), losing them to a team in New York.
The New York Jets have pillaged a ton of Ravens talent over the previous two seasons and the trend stayed true on Wednesday.
Onwuasor came into 2019 with high expectations, looking to replace former teammate CJ Mosley as the field general. After a disappointing 2019 campaign, Onwuasor is now reuniting with Mosley to play for the Jets.

March 25, 2020 In 14 games (6 starts) last season, Onwuasor racked up 64 total tackles, three sacks, and six quarterback hits.
Onwuasor's signing brings the tally to nine former Ravens players who have signed with Gang Green.

March 25, 2020 As Jamison Hensley pointed out, new Jets general manager Joe Douglas has poached several players from the Ravens system since being hired last June. Along with the six players listed, former Ravens draft picks CJ Mosley and defensive end Bronson Kaufusi are also playing in New York. Safety Bennett Jackson, whom has been on the Ravens practice sqaud, signed with the Jets Wednesday.
Prior to joining the Jets as the general manager, Douglas started his career as a scout for the Ravens from 2000-2014.
While it’s clear that Douglas is looking to bring some familiar faces back as well as bring a winning culture to New York, the Ravens have been left simply as providers.
With Onwuasor’s latest signing with the Jets, the Ravens will surely have to address the linebacker position in the upcoming NFL Draft in April. Luckily, the Jets cannot take the Ravens draft picks as they have their players.
Baltimore, we have a problem. And of all teams, the problem is with the New York Jets.
