The Orioles won their third straight game last night 6-5 over the Blue Jays. David Hess turned in his best start of his career no hitting Toronto through six and a third innings with eight strikeouts. He was pulled by Manager Brandon Hyde in the seventh inning after 82 pitches.
Hyde joined Vinny and Haynie earlier and gave his explanation for not keeping Hess in. He referenced the fact that Hess threw 42 pitches Thursday and was on a pitch count last night. Hyde was very pleased with Hess' performance in the game.
