Longtime Orioles broadcaster Joe Angel officially announced his retirement last night on 1057 The Fan and today he joined Scott & Jeremy to talk about his 42 year career.
Angel was known for his catch phrases, "wave it bye, bye", "the Orioles are in the win column", and "we'll be back with the lovely totals". Today he shared with Scott & Jeremy where those phrases were born.
Joe also talked about some of his favorite calls of his career and what he will miss most about leaving the booth. We played some of the most memorable calls from Joe and he talked about what he remembers from those games.
