Ravens and Redskins close out the preseason schedules with a matchup at Fed Ex Field. Former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann joined the Scott & Jeremy Show today to talk about his expectations for the 2019 NFL season.
Joe was critical of Trent Williams' holdout and he also said that he doesn't think theres any chance that he gets traded this year. He also gave us his thoughts on rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins, how big of an impact Darrius Guice will make this season and he also gave us his predictions for the NFC East.
You can't talk to a former quarterback without asking about current quarterbacks. Joe said he understood why Andrew Luck decided to retire last weekend and he said Lamar Jackson's 8 games of experience last season were "invaluable" and he believes either the Ravens or Chiefs will challenge the Patriots in the AFC Championship.
