The University of Maryland is celebrating 100 years of Terps basketball this season and legendary broadcaster Johnny Holliday is in his 40th season as the Terps play-by-play man!
He joined Scott Garceau & Ken Weinman today on 105.7 The Fan to discuss the Terps rise to 17th in the AP Top 25, the improvement of Bruno Fernando and his 40 years of broadcasting.
Johnny said he kicks former Terp Walt Williams during their broadcasts if Walt calls him "Mr. Holliday". He shared a story about signing at Len Bias' funeral and he also shared some interesting tales about his time covering the team while Lefty Driesell was the teams head coach.
