Oriole fans are always looking towards the future of the organization as we are in the middle of the first year of a multi-year rebuild. Today, Scott Garceau & Terry Ford discussed some of the biggest names down on the farm for the Orioles.

2018 1st round pick, Grayson Rodriguez has been tearing it up for the Delmarva Shorebirds this season with a 7-1 record, 2.21 ERA and a ridiculous 0.860 WHIP. He has also struck out 78 batters in 57 innings. It's hard to find a negative with those kind of numbers but ESPN's Keith Law recently wrote a scouting report on Rodriguez and he had some concerns:
"Rodriguez' delivery is really stiff and abrupt, failing to make much use of his lower half, with a cutoff in his landing that has him a little across his body when he goes to his glove side. His arm is consistently late becasue of a pause in his delivery that also robs him of the momentum he builds up before that point, although he's barely over the rubber and doesn't have a ton of it to begin with. It is kind of amazing he can throw as hard as he does as long as he does."

Regardless of Keith's scouting report, Scott & Terry still believe Grayson is one of the best young arms in the system and Terry said he's not buying that he has a problem with his delivery.

Hunter Harvey has spent the past 2 weeks in the Bowie bullpen where he has thrived, tossing 9 innings with 11 strikeouts and just 1 hit allowed. The guys discussed if this is the right role for Harvey moving forward. They also talked about Ryan Mountcastle getting his first week of experience playing in the outfield. Is that the route Mountcastle needs to take to make it to the majors?
