According to multiple reports, the Ravens have released Michael Crabtree.  Crabtree signed a three year, $21 million contract with Baltimore last offseason after being released by the Raiders.  He started 16 games and totaled 54 catches for 607 yards and three touchdowns on 100 targets for a career-low 54 percent catch percentage.

John Brown is a looming free agent which means Baltimore will likely have to rebuild their receiving core for the third consecutive offseason.  The Ravens have just two receivers under contract for 2019 that registered a single catch last season (Willie Snead and Chris Moore).  The team saves over $4.6 million in cap space while incurring over $4.6 in dead money.
