The Orioles began their nine-game West Coast trip in Arizona, where multiple Baltimore favorites have taken their careers.

Along with Raven legend Terrell Suggs, who joined the Cardinals in Arizona, Orioles franchise player Adam Jones signed a one-year contract to join the Diamondbacks.

In their first game against the Orioles in more than 10 years, Jones shined en route to a 6-3 Arizona victory.

Jones finished the game with three hits, including an RBI single and a double. The 33-year old veteran spoke after playing his former team.

Jones’ offense has continued to produce, as he’s batting .272 with 13 homeruns and 45 RBI. Currently, he possesses his highest on-base percentage (.323) since 2012.

During his 11-year career with the Orioles, Jones batted .279, tallied 263 homeruns, and collected 866 RBI.

It surely was odd Monday seeing Jones in the other dugout, wearing Diamondback threads. Although the Orioles lost the game, the main storyline became Jones’ beating up his former team.
