Much has been made about the Ravens need to sure up their pass-rush. With both Terrell Suggs and ZaDarius Smith set to be free agents, the Ravens have to answer some difficult questions.
With Terrell Suggs announcing that he’ll play next season regardless, even though he wants to be a Raven for life, the Ravens are in jeopardy of losing seven sacks of production. Add Smith on top of that and the Ravens may end up losing two elite sack masters.
Sweat commented on the possible fit with Baltimore and who he looked up to when he was growing up.
“Terrell Suggs most definitely. I watched him growing up. He’s a great pass rusher,” Sweat said in an article by Ravens staff writer Clifton Brown.
One thing is for certain. If Sweat is available for Baltimore, no Ravens fan should be worried. An elite pass rusher is always a top priority.
