The Baltimore Orioles season is in full swing and we’ve got you covered with all things Orioles on 105.7 The Fan. John Means is coming off possibly the greatest regular season pitching performance for an Orioles pitcher after he pitched a no hitter in Seattle on Wednesday in the Orioles 6-0 victory. John joined Inside Access to discuss his no hitter.

John joined Jason and Ken to talk about what he thinks about pitching the no hitter, what his mentality was during the game and what this no hitter means to he and his family. John told the guys that even though we’re two days removed from the game, it still hasn’t sunk in yet. John mentioned that he felt every emotion possible yesterday and is glad that he was able to celebrate with his team and his family. John is coming off a year where he lost his dad and he said that seeing his father’s initials in his glove made him think about him and how proud that he would be that John is pitching at this level.

John recorded the first individual no hitter for the Orioles since Jim Palmer did it in 1969.
