Yermin Mercedes, who’s a former Orioles minor league player joined Inside Access today to talk about his recent success.
Yermin joined Jason and Ken to talk about his rookie season, his journey to the major leagues and what he thinks about possibly being an all-star this season. Yermin told the guys that he was extremely emotional when he was told that he made the team out of Spring Training. Yermin did acknowledge that he thought his career was over at one point but thanks to the encouragement from his father and other loved ones, he was able to keep pushing.
Yermin is has a .335 batting avg, 6 HRs and 26 RBI’s.
