Twenty seasons have been played since Jamal Lewis led the NFL in rushing yards in 2003. No Baltimore Ravens player has been close to winning the league’s rushing title over that time.
BetMGM’s NFL futures odds suggest that could change this year.
In 15 of the 20 years since Lewis’ 2,066-yard season, no Ravens player finished within 500 yards of the leader. Among those years was 2020, when the team’s rushing leader, Lamar Jackson, finished more than 1,000 yards behind the league leader, Derrick Henry.
Henry led the league again in 2021 to become the 22nd player in NFL history with multiple rushing titles. If he does it again in 2024, he’ll become the ninth three-time winner and just the second to win three rushing titles with multiple teams (Eric Dickerson).
After signing a two-year, $16-million contract with the Ravens, Henry opened at +1000 to lead the league in rushing, the sixth shortest among all players. He’s still at +1000 — and now tied with Bijan Robinson for the fifth-shortest odds — and has 5.2% of the handle on 4.2% of the tickets, fifth and sixth most, respectively.
Other Ravens players with stat futures include:
Lamar Jackson - Most Passing Yards (+6600)
Zay Flowers - Most Receiving Yards (+3500)
Justin Madubuike - Most Sacks (+3000)
