On the heels of the Orioles breaking their 19-game losing streak, Birds GM Mike Elias joined the Big Bad Morning Show to discuss the O's getting off the schnide and what the future holds for the team. A lot has been said about the Orioles in the last three weeks, both locally and nationally, and very little of it has been positive. With that said, the hopes are that a long losing streak like the recent slide won't happen again.
Listen in as Mike discusses how the O's losing streak is a product of a total redesign of how the franchise works. It wasn't just a rebuild, it was a total teardown. Not only did the O's need to gut their roster, they needed to completely change the way the team approached the game. Mike also gets into the recent play of Anthony Santander, the construction of the O's outfield and infield, and the importance that today's team puts on speed.
