The NFL has notoriously had issues hiring minority candidates, something they've tried to address through the Rooney Rule, though it still seems there are short comings. During this hiring cycle, newly hired Texans Head Coach was the only African-American to land a head coaching position. Culley and new Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh were the only minorities, despite over half-a-dozen interviewing for open positions. In addition to the Texans' hiring of Culley, they've also had their hands full dealing with Deshaun Watson wanting to leave Houston.

There have been reports that Watson has a desire to play for a minority head coach, but the question is: is it right for Watson to have such a desire? If a white quarterback were had a desire to play for a white coach, would people react differently? Plus, should the Ravens receive draft picks for Culley leaving as part of the league's incentivization for developing minority head coaching candidates? On Friday's Big Bad Morning Show, Ed and Rob got into a deep discussion on these topics and the impact race has had on the entire debacle down in Houston.
