Kyle P. Barber of Baltimore Beatdown recently interviewed Ravens legend, and NFL Hall of Famer, Ed Reed and asked an interesting question: "Have you had any conversations about joining the Ravens staff or coaching with them in any capacity?" Ed responded he's talked with Coach Harbaugh a little bit about the prospect but then added that he doesn't want to be a position coach. Reed went on to say that he, "knows his worth," and doesn't think he's suited to be a position coach, though he knows he can do it. Reed has been a position coach in the past, briefly joining the Buffalo Bills as an assistant DB's coach, but that stint didn't last very long. Right now, Reed is in Miami as the football team's Chief of Staff, but it sounds like he'd want another shot at the NFL. At the same time, he has tweeted that he would only want to be a Defensive Coordinator or a Head Coach.

On Friday Morning, Ed and Rob got into a lengthy debate on Reed's coaching credentials. Some fans have said it sounds like Reed doesn't want to put in his time at the NFL level, but is that something a coach really needs to do? Reed also questioned some of the other coaching hires around the league, intimating that he is just as, or maybe more, qualified than some of the men that would be his contemporaries. Is there any truth to that? Ed and Rob break it down on the Big Bad Morning Show.
