
The Maryland Men's Basketball team opened their 2021-22 season last night at home against Quinnipiac, defeating the visiting Bobcats 83-69. The Terps were led newcomer Qudus Wahab, who contributed 17 and 6 in 17 minutes on the court. It was also a milestone night for Eric Ayala, who passed 1000 career points in a Terps uniform. He finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds before checking out. Overall, the Terps had five players in double figures.
