On Friday morning Maryland Head Football Coach Mike Locksley joined Ed, Rob, and Jeremy to discuss the importance of mental health. Coach and his family were touched by mental illness in 2013 when his son Meiko was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, a condition which caused hallucinations, depression, and mood disorder symptoms. Meiko began suffering from the condition during his Senior year at Towson. Tragically, Meiko was murdered in 2017, a crime that still goes unsolved to this day.
While Meiko's life was ended prematurely, Coach Locksley and his family are carrying on his legacy, as well as raising awareness about the importance of mental health.
