The Ravens looked like their old selves last night, drubbing the Dallas Cowboys 34-17 behind 294 yards rushing. Baltimore got a boost from a number of players who came off of the Covid/Reserve list, most notably QB Lamar Jackson. Jackson looked rusty to start, especially through the air, but Lamar looked like the MVP-caliber player he was last year with his legs, racking up 94 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. The rest of the Ravens ground attack was stellar, running over a Dallas defense that had no answer from Gus Edwards, JK Dobbins, or Mark Ingram.
There was a lot to like in the win, but how much stock can fans put in a beatdown of a 3 and 8 NFC East opponent? The offensive line looked strong, but was their play the product of facing a lesser opponent? And is Lamar back to the level of play he was at in 2019? The Baltimore Sun's Mike Preston joined the Big Bad Morning Show on Wednesday to answer these questions and give his grades on the Ravens Tuesday night win.
