The NBA Finals are back in the Bay Area. And Steve Kerr is back in friendly territory.

While the Warriors were in Boston for Game 3 and Game 4, Kerr took the chance to walk around and see the sights with his family. As he alluded to on his interview with 95.7 The Game's “Damon & Ratto” last week, Kerr had some fun banter with a Duck Boat driver in Boston.

In a clip that that was making the rounds on Warriors Twitter Monday, you can hear Kerr and the driver trading barbs as they drive by and spot him on a street corner.

Before the video starts, the driver must have asked Kerr if he knew what the Duck Boats are traditionally used for.

“I remember what used to happen back in the 80s,” Kerr said.

Zing. Kerr went right past the rhetorical answer, as Duck Boats – which are essentially amphibious open-sided tour buses – are the official parade vehicles of Boston championship sports teams.

“World Championship parades happen on these bad boys,” the driver said. “Love you, buddy. Go Wildcats.”

So, it was all in good fun and the driver made sure to give a shoutout to Kerr’s alma mater, the University of Arizona. He also took the time to explain the whole interaction with unknowing passengers on the bus.

“That’s the head coach of the Warriors right there,” the driver said before making one last-second request. “And I need tickets tomorrow!”

How you gonna heckle the man then ask for tickets? Shameless, but I guess there’s no other way.

The Warriors have never hosted a parade in San Francisco, but they might have to bust out some cable cars on Market Street if they can get two more wins.
