Damar Hamlin continues to show he is in good spirits after his near-death experience.
The Buffalo Bills safety was at the Super Bowl on Sunday, being recognized before the game along with the medical staff that helped save his life after he went into cardiac arrest in a game on Jan. 2.
The 24-year-old has come a long way since his incident just over a month ago, attending the Bills’ game against the Bengals three weeks ago as well as the NFL awards night where he made a surprise appearance and delivered a speech to the audience.
Hamlin was soaking in the atmosphere on Sunday, dapping up Eagles running back Miles Sanders, whom Hamlin is friends with since high school and watching the game alongside NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
He also got the chance to meet NBA star LeBron James, posting a photo with the NBA’s new all-time leading scorer.
While it is uncertain whether or not Hamlin will play football again the sports world has certainly continued to rally around him and his recovery continues to inspire.
