Dez Bryant is not ready to call it quits in the NFL just yet.

The 33-year-old wide receiver has not played since 2020, but if he does get a call he hopes it is for one team in particular — the Arizona Cardinals.

“Kyler, the coach — I love the swagger over there,” Bryant told TMZ Sports. “I just love the guys, especially DeAndre Hopkins — that’s my boy. We real close.”

The interview was done prior to news of Hopkins’ six-game suspension, but interestingly enough, that suspension could be even more reason for the Cardinals to possibly inquire about Bryant.

The team could use some wide receiver depth and there is certainly no harm in bringing in a veteran like Bryant to see if he can contribute.

Of course, the team did just trade for Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, who joins a receiving corps that also consists of Rondale Moore, A.J. Green and Andy Isabella.

But it’s a long way from the start of the season and if the Cardinals feel they need more depth, or an injury pops up, there is no harm in bringing in Bryant for a workout to see if he can contribute.

Bryant played six games for the Baltimore Ravens in 2020, hauling in six catches for 47 yards and two touchdowns.

Prior to that, he last played in 2017 with the Dallas Cowboys before an Achilles injury cost him to miss the following season after signing with the New Orleans Saints.

Bryant was a three-time Pro Bowl receiver and a First-Team All-Pro in eight years with the Dallas Cowboys.
