DK Metcalf pulled a Paul Pierce on Sunday, and he’s getting a laugh out of it too.
There was a moment of concern in the Seattle Seahawks’ win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, as the star wideout was carted to the locker room during the fourth quarter.
Metcalf hadn’t sustained any apparent injuries and was sitting up in the cart as it moved. Later in the broadcast, it was revealed that Metcalf just needed to make a trip to the restroom.
The 24-year-old essentially confirmed that was the case afterwards, reacting to the clip on Twitter.
Hey, if the option to take the cart is there, might as well take it.
Certainly though, it was a heart-stopping moment for more than a few Seahawks fans.
