Christmas was on Friday of last week, but Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson continued to spread the holiday cheer as we approach the new year.

On Wednesday, the two-time Pro Bowler reposted several of his teammates' Instagram stories, thanking him for the generous gift that will get them through the cold months ahead (h/t Daniel Greenberg).

It's an awesome move from a guy who has had some struggles in 2020, failing to make the Pro Bowl and delivering some career-low numbers in pass coverage. Still, he's a key part of a defense that has carried the load in weeks when the offense failed to show up, getting wins against teams like the Buccaneers (20-19 in Week 5) and Vikings (36-7 in Week 14) to keep the team's playoff hopes alive.

It won't be an easy road to the playoffs, though. It's a one-game road, but it's a contest that features the red-hot Green Bay Packers, headed by MVP front runner Aaron Rodgers. In his career, Jackson is 1-6 against the Packers, though that one win did come with a Jackson interception in a fourth quarter red zone appearance.

Hopefully, for Jackson's sake, a similar occurrence unfolds in Week 17 of the 2020 season. Maybe those PS5s can get them some practice against the Madden version of Aaron Rodgers, though video games may be best left for after the season is over when they're still in playoff contention.
