(SportsRadio 610) -- J.J. Watt has a new team.
The former Texans defensive end announced Monday on social media he is signing with the Arizona Cardinals.
Watt joins another former Texans superstar, DeAndre Hopkins, who was traded infamously to the Cardinals last year for David Johnson and a second-round pick.
The Texans released Watt, the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and most accomplished player in franchise history, last month after 10 seasons with the team.
Despite being diminished physically by injuries, Watt was still by far the Texans' best defensive player last season, leading the team with 17 quarterback hits, 14 tackles for loss and five sacks.
Watt also tied for the team lead in passes defended (seven) and interceptions (one).
