DK Metcalf wasn't penalized in the game, but the frequent shoving matches between he and Marshon Lattimore were enough to earn both players fines from the NFL.
Lattimore, who earned two penalties totaling 30 yards, was fined $10,815, per a report from NOLA.com. Metcalf was fined $6,949.

The testy matchup got started quickly, with Metcalf taking advantage of Lattimore's foot getting tangled with his own and falling to the ground as the Seahawks receiver caught the first pass of the day from Geno Smith and sprinting 84 yards for a touchdown. Metcalf was frequently blocking Lattimore aggressively throughout plays, with Lattimore responding with post-whistle shoves multiple times. In the end it was the Saints corner who got the better of the matchup, holding Metcalf to just one catch for 12 yards the rest of the way.
Lattimore is often found at the center of heated WR-CB matchups, often shadowing the opponent's top receiver. That's been the case the past several years with the Tampa Bay Bucs and Mike Evans, the Saints' next opponent.
