Robby Anderson took to Twitter following the Panthers blowout loss to the Bucs Sunday afternoon to address fans and reporters who were roasting the wideout for celebrating a late-game first-down catch while Carolina was down 32-6 with only a few minutes left to go in the game.

The former Jet replied to NFL reporter Dov Kleiman, who disapproved of Anderson's celebration, calling it 'silly.'
“Dat's a good ass route and catch," Anderson said in response to Kleiman's tweet. Anderson continued, saying it's people like 'you' (Kleiman) who always try to find the negative in the positive and said he's just out there enjoying every moment of his dream -- which is playing in the NFL.
"Dats ppl like you problem always tryna find negative in situations. Ima count my blessings and live my dream and enjoy it to the fullest the best I know this dream don’t last forever.”
In another tweet, Anderson said “I’ll never count it as a loss if I learn the lesson from it. I refuse to accept and look at life from a ‘losing’ mentality.”
Despite his passion and heart, Anderson has had quite a disappointing season, only recording 44 catches for 459 yards and four touchdowns after getting a two-year, $29.5 million contract extension in August. Granted, a lot of this is due to the inconsistent quarterback play Carolina has had this year.
To cut Anderson some slack here, the game was already lost, so if he wants to celebrate a first down in a game that saw them have little success on offense, that's fine with me. At least it wasn't a situation similar to Chase Claypool's, who celebrated a first down when the Steelers were in a two minute drive mode and had no timeouts left.
Anderson and the Panthers (5-10) visit the Saints (7-7) Sunday.
