No one was happy on the Dallas Cowboys sideline Sunday night. CeeDee Lamb, in particular, was visibly miffed.

The Cowboys were served another gut-punch by the San Francisco 49ers, who walloped Dallas 42-10 on Sunday Night Football. It was an ugly night in all three phases, but the offense really sputtered in the loss.

Dak Prescott tossed three interceptions and ultimately completed just 14 of his 24 passing attempts for 153 yards and a touchdown. When the Cowboys offense is really clicking, they are dynamic and tough to stop. But the lows are pretty low, and Sunday was evidence of how far things can go off the rails.

Lamb was spotted standing alone on the sideline at points, pacing back and forth. He was palpably frustrated on his way back to the locker room, something that became especially clear in his postgame comments. The NBC broadcast indicated he was involved in some conversations on the sidelines involving Prescott amid the frustration – though that was never shown on video.

Asked on the K&C Masterpiece about Lamb’s frustration and if there are any issues between him and Prescott, Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones claimed there aren’t.

“No. That’s just, I'm sure, the result – I think everybody had that frustration as that game was coming to a close of just feeling like we can be better than that,” Jones said. “Whenever that happens emotions run high, you want the emotions to run high, you want to have that competitive spirit come out.

“Certainly when you’re not getting the job done, you see those types of frustrations. But those are all things that we can learn from, certainly I think we do have great leadership on this football team.”

Lamb had four receptions for 49 yards in the loss and, ultimately, it would be concerning if he wasn’t put off by their performance.
