Orioles Executive VP and General Manager Mike Elias joined the Big Bad Morning Show for his weekly check-in and the month of June has been good for the Birds, as they've won five of their last seven after losing 14 in a row. While the Major League team is surging, the minor league teams are also tearing it up, specifically at Double-A Bowie.
The Baysox currently have two of the best prospects not only in the Orioles system, but in all of baseball, in RHP Grayson Rodriguez and Catcher Adley Rutschman. Rodriguez has been mowing down opposing lineups, with his ERA currently sitting at 0.90. Meanwhile, Adley Rutschman is near the top in numerous offensive categories including OPS, homeruns, and OBP.
