It's been a big week for the Orioles off the diamond, as the team announced Tuesday that the team would be building a new state-of-the-art training facility down in the Dominican Republic. This new facility will feature three ball fields, classrooms, entertainment facilities, and dormitories for over 100 players, coaches, and staff. This move is massive for an Orioles team that was known around the league for having little to zero international presence. At the forefront of this move is Orioles Senior Director of International Scouting Koby Perez. Koby joined the Big Bad Morning Show on Friday to discuss the Orioles new facility in the DR and the impact it will have on the O's future. As a team that seemingly had to build it's international scouting presence from the ground up, what will it take to build a pipeline for non-American players to make it into the Majors? Listen in as Koby breaks it down with Jeremy and Ed on the Big Bad Morning Show.
