Fresh off of the 2021 MLB Draft, Orioles GM Mike Elias joined the Big Bad Morning Show to recap his last few days helping pick the guys that could be the future of this team. The O's made 21 picks on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, with 20 of those picks being college players. Mike discusses why the O's chose more experienced players over high school prospects and how it wasn't exactly the Birds' plan going into the draft. Plus, Mike breaks down the O's first two picks, Colton Cowser and Conner Norby, and why he feels they're two guys that could be in the Orioles' lineup in the near future. Outside of the Draft, Mike also discusses the Homerun Derby and the All-star game, and how Cedric Mullins and Trey Mancini have made the O's proud the last few days.
