It's been a trying three weeks for the Baltimore Orioles, as they're currently mired in the second-worst losing streak in franchise history, in a season that was lost long before this dismal stretch. Even then, as he does every week, Orioles GM Mike Elias joined the Big Bad Morning Show to discuss the current state of the Orioles. It's obvious this team doesn't have the talent to compete at the Major League level, and Mike understands that, but he also wants fans to understand that help is on the way. The Birds currently have the second-best farm system according to Baseball America, but those eggs aren't ready to hatch yet. Patience will be key, as Elias and the rest of the O's brass attempts to rebuild this organization into a perennial winner.
Listen in to Rob and Ed's conversation with Mike as he discusses the rebuild, the need for patience, and what's going on down in the Minor Leagues that should get fans excited for the future.
