Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is feeling blessed and paying it forward.

The 21-year-old athlete, who just completed his rookie year with the Oakland Raiders, announced that he bought his father a house in his hometown of Oklahoma.

“Blessed just bought my pops a house,” he shared on Twitter after surprising his pops.

The Raiders also posted a video of Josh’s father, Marty, trying to hold back tears as he realizes what’s happening.

“An unforgettable gesture,” the Raiders Twitter account captioned the video, which reveals that Marty’s father was welcomed with a bouquet of “Welcome Home” balloons upon entering the house.

The house, which the Daily Mail describes as having a “white stone exterior” and “wooden paneling,” is Josh’s way of thanking his father.

According to an article on the Raiders website, Josh’s journey wouldn’t be possible without his father who “who sacrificed for his children and put them before himself, helping Josh and his siblings make it through the adversity.”

Before finding success on the football field and signing to a four-year deal as the 24th-overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, Josh captivated audiences with his story of surviving homelessness as a child.

Along with his father and four siblings, Josh often lived in his father’s car in Tulsa.

Now, things are only looking up for the athlete who is a leading candidate for the “NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year,” according to ESPN.

“I spoke everything I was going to do into existence,” Josh revealed in the video.

The Raiders will play out of their new home in Las Vegas next season.
