The Undefeated's Jerry Bembry joined the Big Bad Morning Show to discuss the day's biggest topics in the NBA, as well as his new documentary project, 'On & Coppin' that was recently posted on ESPN+. Over the course of the last 18 months, Jerry, as well as his daughter Ashley Bembry-Kaintuck, worked tirelessly to tell the story of Fang Mitchell and the rise of the Coppin State Basketball program. In 1997, Mitchell's Coppin State Eagles became only the third 15 seed in the NCAA history to beat a number two seed. Jerry worked for the Baltimore Sun at the time and covered Coach Mitchell's team during that time. The project is the culmination of years of work for Jerry, as he began talking to Coppin players that were on that 1997 team and over the course of the last two decades, he's slowly gathered interviews to tell Coppin's story. If you're a local basketball fan, it's not something you want to miss. Listen in as Jerry, Rob, Ed, and Jeremy discuss Jerry's new doc and the process behind it's creation.
