March Madness is in full effect and while the University of Maryland Men’s team has been eliminated, the Women’s team is marching on to the Sweet 16. The lady Terps have dominated in their first two tournament games and Head Coach Brenda Frese joined Inside Access to discuss their tournament run.
Coach Frese joined Jason and Ken to discuss the evolution of recruitment and the transfer portal, Freshman Angel Reese’s development and what’s the secret to her team’s high scoring. Coach Frese talked about why some players decide to transfer to other schools and how thankful she is to be able to get so many good transfer players. When talking about Angel Reese, Coach Frese told the guys that she has barely scratched the surface. She thinks Angel will continue to grow and get better and thinks that it’s even better to see her performing at this level coming off a broken foot.
