Embrace Families launched the "MANicure Movement" locally in 2017 to bring attention to the grim statistic that 1 in 5 children experience abuse before the age of 18. Now, it is a statewide initiative that calls for people to paint only their pointer fingernail in a blue polish with the hope of sparking a conversation about why that is the only fingernail painted.
