Electric buses have made their way to the streets of Greenville.
The city of Greenville took to social media on Monday to announce that Proterra buses have officially joined the city fleet.
You can catch one of the buses from here on out on Greenlink’s Route 2 serving White Horse Road.
As for how the new buses feel for passengers, one commenter said, “I rode it. The passengers were really happy with the bus and the driver handled it professionally.”
In total, four of the electric buses will be set to join the Greenlink fleet.
One of the major benefits, other than the environmental benefits, of course, is the lack of a smoggy nauseous gasoline bus smell, seeing as these are all electric.
This comes after the local government voted to expand Greenlink services in the years ahead
