Gateway Corridor Lane Closure possible this weekend.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation may shut down Exit 36 from 385 Northbound to I-85 Southbound this Saturday night, weather permitting.

The lane will be closed to traffic to allow for joint repair on the flyover bridge.  If the closure takes place, it will begin Saturday, May 9th, at 7pm and reopen Monday, May 11th, at 7am.

Drivers are asked to prepare to detour to Exit 36A in order to pick up 85 Southbound. 

Signs will be posted.

Weather permitting, Exit 36B from I-385 NBCD to I-85 SB will be closed this Saturday night through Monday morning.

Beginning Saturday, May 9 at 7 p.m., Exit 36B on the I-385 NB collector-distributor lane will be closed to traffic to allow for joint repair on the flyover bridge.

Drivers traveling northbound on the I-385 NBCD will be detoured to Exit 36A (I-385 NBCD to I-85 NB).

From there, drivers will follow signs to Exit 56 (Highway 14) where they can detour onto I-85 SB. Work is scheduled to finish by Monday, May 11 at 7 a.m.Drivers are asked to obey speed limits, follow all traffic control, and be mindful of workers in the construction zone.​
