The survey was offered in English and Spanish and could be accessed via computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
The GCS Service Center also completed surveys over the phone for families without Wi-Fi or a smart phone.
Parents were notified of the survey through a phone message home, an email via Parent Backpack, GCS social media platforms, and local media outlets.
Postcards with survey information in English and Spanish as well as a QR code for easy access were distributed at the school district’s summer meals sites and through the local YMCA Summer Camps and Front Desks, Harvest Hope, Greenville County Rec/Upstate Circle of Friends, Livewell food boxes, Pleasant Valley Connection, and the Jesus El Ray Church Food Pantry.
