Bill Frady is no stranger to the WORD family. He’s a proud Greenville resident. A husband, father, grandfather. A military veteran with a martial arts background, He went to Wade Hampton and Westside High Schools in the upstate and graduated in 1979
After 7 years in the military, Bill came back to the Upstate with his young family in 1990. During this time, Bill discovered the world of talk radio and discovered, WORD’s legendary, Russ Cassell.
As a true believer in his military oath, Bill continued to follow politics in all directions,
Bill has become an award winning Radio Personality in the 2nd Amendment community, being awarded the Defender of Liberty by the Second Amendment Foundation in 2021.
His syndicated Lock N Load radio show with Bill Frady is heard Sunday nights from 10pm-midnight on WORD and is ranked in the top 200 Globally as a podcast.
In 2015, Bill became a fill in host at WORD, and finally got to connect with his adopted hometown and work at WORD.
