Dr. Kizzi Staley Gibson is running against Mollie Spearman for the position of SC State Superintendent of Education and was on The Charlie James Show on 106.3 WORD Monday afternoon discussing what she wants to do if elected.

Community and teacher retention were key topics Dr. Gibson said she wants to address if she is elected to the state superintendent position.

She continued to explain that she wants teachers and other educational staff to be further acknowledged for their work during the pandemic.
