A U.S. Senator from South Carolina has been subpoenaed by a grand jury in another state. Lindsey Graham has been asked to appear before a special grand jury in Fulton County , Georgia that is investigating the 2020 election.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution first reported the news of the subpoenas Tuesday. Graham is just one of several people close to Donald Trump who has been asked to appear. Others include Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani and several other attorneys.
Graham has been subpoenaed due to phone calls he made to Georgia's Secretary Of State concerning the election results. Graham reportedly asked during phone calls if the Georgia Secretary Of State's office had the authority to reject certain absentee ballots and asked about possible political bias from poll workers concerning Georgia's signature matching laws. Graham has denied any wrongdoing and described accusations to the contrary as "ridicolous".
