There’s one thing Kourtney Kardashian won’t apologize for and that’s showing her kids affection in a way that’s meaningful to her.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star and mom of three defended kissing her kids on the lips in a recent interview for Rosie Huntington Whiteley’s Rose Inc.
She admitted she rarely gives into comments from mommy shamers.
“Once in a while, I may respond to a negative comment for fun, or if something really does bother me I definitely have the platform to correct it … but I usually don’t think twice. No matter what it is that I am doing, someone has something to say, good or bad,” she said.
As for those critical remarks about her parenting approach, she said she doesn’t want to hear it from people on the Internet who think they know it all.
“The worst, though, is when people I don’t know give unsolicited parenting advice. No one knows my kids better than me, I’ve got this, I’m good, thanks,” she said.
Kardashian, who shares sons Reign (5) and Mason (10), and daughter Penelope (7.5) with ex Scott Disick, isn’t the only celebrity who has received criticism for kissing her kiddos.
Hilary Duff took on shamers in 2016 who thought kissing her then-4-year-old on the lips was “inappropriate.”
Similarly, Gabrielle Union defended herself by saying she has a nurse on hand who thinks smooching her children is just fine.
“I don’t even touch her without washing and sanitizing myself and everything and everyone that comes into contact with her,” she admitted.
