Chris Brown has revealed a title and potential release date for the collaborative mixtape he and Young Thug have been cooking up. So, for those wondering what this new Thugger and Breezy project is going to sound like. Good news! You don’t have to wait much longer.
On Tuesday, Brown posted on Instagram, suggesting that he and Young Thug could be dropping their mixtape, which appears to be titled Slime & B, on May 5. "5th day of the 5th month @thuggerthugger,” the singer hinted on his caption. May 5 is also Chris Brown's 31st birthday.
There has yet to be an official confirmation on the name of the mixtape or the release date, but Slime & B appears to be the working title.
The project was first mentioned on April 6, when Breezy posted an IG Story saying "Me and Thugga Thugga @thuggerthugger1 got a mixtape coming soon.” The two have previously paired up on songs such as Brown's 2017 "High End" and the remix to his 2015 track "Wrist." The forthcoming release would be the first for both in 2020.
While few details have been disclosed about the project or what fans can expect to hear from the duo, if their previous collabs are any indication of what they plan to deliver, the tape is going to supply fans a solid mix of trap and R&B.
