The GameStop stocks dilemma is already being made into a movie

The GameStop-Reddit-Wall Street-Hedge Fund saga has taken over the world the last couple of weeks, so it only makes sense that Hollywood is chomping at the bit to churn out something about it.

Well it's happening. MGM has acquired the rights to "The Antisocial Network," which is the proposed book of the saga written by New York Times best-selling author Ben Mezrich, reports Deadline.

One of Mezrich's previous books, "The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding Of Facebook, a Tale Of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal," was adapted into the 2010 Academy Award-winning film "The Social Network."

As the book has yet to be written, there have been no decisions made on casting choices or a potential release date.
