In addition to the anniversary concert, Cole also revealed that special editions of 2014 Forest Hills Drive will be available for pre-order on vinyl and CD, and will feature alternate cover art, and four new bonus tracks.
Pre-sale tickets for the anniversary show are available as of Monday, December 2 at 10AM ET, followed by the general on-sale period beginning Wednesday, December 4, at 10AM ET. Cole is also reserving 2,014 tickets that will be available for just $1. These “dollar and a dream” tickets will be available for in-person purchase only, one per fan, while supplies last, at a time and place that will be revealed on the day of the show, December 16.
Recently reflecting on his life and career on his “new limited audio series,” Inevitable, Cole previewed unreleased collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, “Shock The World” and “Temptation” on the podcast’s fourth episode. Songs that date back to 2010, when both artists were considering recording a joint album. He’s also made his early mixtapes 2007’s The Come Up, 2009’s The Warm Up, and and 2010’s Friday Night Lights available on streaming platforms for the first time since their debut.
In other exciting J. Cole news, just last week he announced that his Dreamville Festival will return to Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, 2025 for its fifth anniversary.
Tickets for the 2025 fest will begin with pre-sales on Wednesday, December 11 at 9AM EST, offering two-day GA, GA+, and various VIP packages. According to the event's official press release — “these will be the least expensive tickets available to the general public with prices increasing as the event date approaches. If any presale tickets remain, a general ticket on-sale will follow.” As of now, no line up announcements have been made, and following last year’s announcement rollout timeline, odds are there won’t be any news on that front until around early March, next year.
